One of my favorite menu item is a veggie burger. It’s different than any veggie burger I’ve tried before. the kidney bean has yielded the best results so far- love the intense peppery character of this bean! The burgers came out really perfect.. They can be fashioned like kebabs as well as burgers… And I bet you will surely gonna like it! Pretty easy & DEEEELISH!!!

Ingredients:

for 4 burgers 1 onion 2 cloves garlic 1 tbsp. olive oil 500 g of cooked kidney beans 1 tbsp. chopped coriander 2 teaspoon ground cumin 1-2 teaspoon of chipotle chili sauce 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon of oregano 1 tbsp. corn flour 1/5 teaspoon salt pepper

Instructions:

Heat the oil in a small sauté pan over medium heat and add the onion and garlic. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until onion is translucent. In a food processor add the rest of the ingredients: cooked kidney beans, corn flour, chipotle chili sauce and spices. Then add onion & garlic mixture. Pulse in the food processor until it’s mashed up.
Form the mixture into 6 equal patties, compacting them well with your hands as you form them. You should get around 4-5 patties. Cook each burger on both sides until brown and crispy. Top with desired toppings. (Tomato, avocado, sprouts, pickles, mustard, mayo, etc.)
