Easy vegan ice cream recipe

No Ice Cream Maker Required! Homemade Ice Cream is the perfect dessert for any occasion. This homemade ice cream is chock-full of cherry and dates goodness but without saturated fat and cholesterol. No custard base, no eggs, no cooking time And the flavor? Holy sweet cherry ecstasy! Seriously. You can see the fruitiness just bursting out of the bowl. And because it’s made with fresh cherries, you get the antioxidant benefits, the filling fiber, and the potassium you wouldn’t get with a bowl of ice cream. If you put the ingredients in the freezer the night before, this recipe takes less than 10 minutes to make!


500g. – cherries, frozen Wash and dry the cherries, and remove all the pits. Place in a freezer bag or glass container, and freeze for at least three hours. If you don’t have the time, you can use frozen cherries. 3 – bananas 1 tsp. – of cinnamon 200g. – dates Chocolate chips – If you don’t have chocolate chips (as I didn’t) you can use good quality cooking chocolate and chop into ‘chips’. Ice Cream Topping Flax seeds Poppy seed Sesame seeds
Taste and adjust flavors as needed. Serve immediately or freeze for later use. You can eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner…and of course as a snack or as a dessert! Plus, it’s extremely customizable! Though I’ve yet to try other flavors, I can only assume that the base would work well with peanut butter, strawberries, and perhaps even dairy-free yogurt!
