Adorable Polymer Clay ‘Swiss Roll’ Charms

Jul 31, 2017 | Art & Crafts | 17 comments

Hello all ! I hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a great start! Today, I want to show you how to make these “delicious swiss rolls” charms where you can turn them into jewelry like earrings and bracelet.
This is an easy tutorial and a great entry level polymer clay craft for beginner. Basically, anyone can do it and doesn’t have to be skilled to handle polymer clay. Even kids can do it but they will need adult’s help when baking / curing the polymer in an oven.

You will need:

A few blocks of polymer clay- contrasting colors work best! Cheap pens or ink stick. To bake your polymer clay creations, you will need an oven that can be accurately programmed to generate temperatures between 215°F (102°C) to 325°F (163°C). This range is sufficient to bake any polymer clay item. You can use a regular oven, a toaster or a convection oven, BUT not a microwave oven.
